Our midwinter meeting was held March 14 in the midst of a heavy snowstorm at the Arlberg Inn in Guilford. The start of the meeting was somewhat delayed due to the majority of the group being actively engaged in trying to push each others' cars up the mountain. This project was finally abandoned, as were most of the cars, and everyone piled into one station wagon. The cars were picked out of the ditch on the way home.

Those of us who finally got to the meeting were rewarded with an excellent meal and a fine talk by the Executive Officer of the College, Eddie Chamberlain '36. Eddie brought along two of our local boys from Hanover and we certainly are grateful to them all for coming on such a wild night.

The interviewing committee gave a report on its activities of the past few months and felt that there was a good possibility that we might again have some successful candidates from the Lakes Region.

Plans are underway to have as large a gathering as possible at our next meeting on May 23, when President Dickey will be over to meet with us for the first time. Details on this meeting which will include an informal reception at Steele Hill Inn and a dinner at the Laconia Tavern, will be sent our regular mailing list. Anyone else wishing to attend should immediately write to Ray Welbourn '41, Tilton, N. H. Wives are invited.
