It is difficult to tell all the news it is fit to publish when the secretary looks on the list of '91 living members.
In May he contacted Bugbee, Fish and Tewksbury in Randolph, Vt., and Tunbridge, Vt. He had previously seen our honorary member, Miss Ford, in Hanover.
In June on a trip to New Jersey, he included calls on Mrs; Dußois in Englewood, the Grays in Montclair and the Lords in Glen Ridge. He has to report that Mrs. Gray has failed a good deal since her husband passed away.
The Lords are living in retirement and it was a pleasure to read the fine tribute paid by the officers of the bank in Glen Ridge which Lord had served so efficiently for many, many years. The Lords were enjoying a beautiful TV set presented by the bank officials.
Correspondence with O'Brien found him in Sante Fe, N. M., for the summer, and the last note indicated the O'Briens would be back in Washington early in September.
The Rowes called several times on the Healds in Scarboro, Me., which is about ten miles from the summer home of the secretary in Bay View, Saco, Me. Heald is none too well but mentally is the alert man we all know.
From Burbank recently came a letter which was possibly a farewell note, but it is the hope of the secretary that there will be more correspondence.
