When new President Robinson BosworthJr. '37 took reign last January, he allowed as how 1951 was to be a big year for the renovated Dartmouths in this area. True to his word, Leader of Men Bosworth started the year off with a visit by President Dickey, followed by a large event featuring the Glee Club ... both events being well received by one and all.

However, when the summer season rolled around, new home-owner Paul Van Antwerpen '35 was surprised to learn that he was giving a "lawn-warming" party, his front "40 acres" having' been generally approved as the most likely for our annual picnic. All available Dartmouths and wives in this area converged on this site on August 25 and enjoyed the usually semi-fatal combination of baseball and beer. Present were such antique notables as Steve Stotzer '36 and wife Emilie; Skip French '38 and wife Betsy; Bob Bosworth '37 and Marian; Gardy Friedlander '40 and Mary; John Lotter '46 and Cookie; and many other local fans, as well as a few hardy outof-town faithfuls all too numerous to be herein mentioned.

In the fall, as goes with custom, the group met with the Cornell alumni at the University Club to suffer through a wire report of the game with that University. We all enjoyed the food and drink. The game . . . eh?

Steve Stotzer was the chairman of our annual undergraduate luncheon held at the Milwaukee Athletic Club on- December 27, when eight undergraduates from this area were feted. At this luncheon, the Proselyting Committee (Ted Fajen '46 and Bill Kieckhefer '40) discussed the desirability of a close-working relationship between the alumni committee and the undergraduates in procuring applicants.
