In the Boston Sunday Herald of January 27 appeared the death notice of Alma L. (Car- penter) Eggleston, wife of the late WillardW. Eggleston. Funeral services were held at the Carpenter Memorial Chapel, Rock Hill Cemetery, Foxboro, on Sunday, January 27, at 2 P.M.
Your Secretary was certainly surprised to learn that, although he had written Mrs. Eggleston enclosing a copy of the item to appear in the February ALUMNI MAGAZINE, she had already passed away. He was able to attend the services in Foxboro and was heart- ily welcomed as representing the Class of Ninety-One.
There is little news, but it is certainly worthy of note that the anniversary of our Ferda Fish's birthday, February 15, 1866, oc- curs this month and that the birthday of Tewksbury, born on March 10, 1869, will come in March.
