April was a busy and successful month for our organization. On the first we held a special luncheon at the University Club which attracted an attendance of over 30. George Colton '35 gave us a succinct commentary on the current Hanover scene, which attracted a great deal of interest. The large turnout was due to the usual good efforts of Grant Hesser '41.

On the following Friday Lew Johnstone '41 entertained the local Club at his home for cocktails and dinner. The event was sponsored by the Club and a nominal charge was made for food and likker. Sandy Courter '41 helped Lew and Carolyn by taking care of the solicitation; 57 persons turned out, which shows that Sandy really did a fine job. One veteran Cincinnatian remarked afterwards that Lew's party was the best he could remember since [hey had the Glee Club here in 1935. The writer is a little too young to remember that event, but if it was better than Lew's it must have been a real whing-ding.

The Class of 1941 can be justly proud of the work put into these affairs by its local members.

From now until vacation time the Club is continuing its regular Tuesday luncheons and is laying plans for the annual meeting and election of officers. Summer is arriving early in the Queen City and there has been some talk of an outdoor affair before the end of

Our enrollment chairman, Hass Warrener '39, is hot on the trail of eight local lads who have actually been admitted to Dartmouth. Hass has arranged a luncheon at the Cincinnati Country Club in order to introduce the group to each other.
