Under the able leadership of PresidentGrant Hesser '41 a fine program of activities has been arranged for the next six months. November 7 will find local Dartmouth men celebrating or (and we trust not) deploring the results of the presidential election at the home of Shirley and Frank Simpson '41. With the results of last year's party at Lew Johnstone's still fresh in mind we can't help but predict that this event will provide a successful kickoff for this year's program.

On December 30 the Club will hold its annual Christmas cocktail party at the Cincinnati Country Club. In recent years this event has brought out a large attendance and this year should be no exception. On March 31, 1953, the club will sponsor the Glee Club for the first time in several years. The exact location of the concert and the accompanying activities have not been decided at this writing, but an able committee headed by WestShell '44 and Gordon Hood '50 is working on the arrangements.

By the time this column is printed all Cincinnati men will have been notified of these activities by other means, and we hope that participation in every activity will be wide- spread.

Our weekly (Tuesday) luncheons at the Hotel Sheraton-Gibson are still well patronized. We are losing, however, one of our main- stays to the United States Marine Corps, namely, Dr. Sanford Courter '41, who has been called back to finish out his service, which was interrupted by a few years of peace. We need a replacement for Sandy's constant attendance and strongly urge anybody who has not had luncheon with us yet to come down and join the crowd.
