The College has a limited number of recordings of President Eisenhower's "book burning" speech, delivered at Commencement last June, available at $2.00 each. The LP records were pressed by Columbia Transcriptions and are of professional quality.
The recording was made originally for presentation at Dartmouth Clubs on Dartmouth Night, but interest in it has been so high that an additional pressing has been made.
Besides the Eisenhower speech, the 25minute record includes a resume of last year at Dartmouth, President Dickey's citation of President Eisenhower, and concluding remarks by President Dickey as well as a number by the Glee Club and Baker Library chimes.
