By the time you read this, your first Reunion News Letter should be received. Those paying their class dues to Bob Conant continue to add notes that they are planning to be in Hanover in June. We are arranging a new directory, so when your card arrives, send in information.

Walt and Irene Nolan have moved from North Chelmsford and can be reached at Treble Cove Rd., North Billerica, Mass.

Ray Ball, from Scarsdale, N. Y., says they couldn't afford to miss this reunion for it is getting much later all the time... and the Bill Terrys are looking forward to June. JoeBarnett plans on the 40th, "God willing," he guesses all should now add. He is western manager of Comic Weekly.

We are planning on showing class movies, so bring your films and we'll provide the projector. Several have reels from former reunions. Sherm Ward's will be shown.

"Doc" Willis is in the Deaconess Hospital, Deaconess Rd., Brookline 46, recovering from an operation and fighting pleurisy.

Word came from Andy Comstock that RayBennett had passed away on December 28, and as no further information is available, the memorial notice will appear in the March MACAZINE. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, December 31, and Andy represented the class. Perhaps others in California received notices in time to be present.

On November 11, the 33rd Degree Masons meeting in the consistory held at the Masonic Temple in Manchester, N. H., included Harold McAllister, an active member of the Supreme Council for New Hampshire. Harold's son Allan has come to Boston to join the group of special agents for the Phoenix Insurance Cos. and the secretary sees him almost daily now.

Sid and Lillian Akerstrom toured from Littleton, N. H., to Boston but missed the secretary at his office. They also went to West Scarboro, Me. They tried to find George Mulcahy, but missed him and his family also.

Steve Perry resigned his position with the Veterans Administration in Hartford, Conn., and is looking for a chance to be useful in a small community, as he does not wish to retire yet. Their third grandchild Pamela Louise Perry was born in Hanover, on November 3, 1952, Nathaniel's daughter. Nat, having received his degree in forestry at the University of Montana this year, has returned to White River Junction. Peter Shumway Perry graduated from Oberlin last June and in January 1953 started graduate work at Northwestern University. Steve and Alice were in Hanover recently.

Chet Dudley keeps up his interest in football by active participation in the Downtown Quarterback Club of Tulsa. He is a vice president of this most worthwhile organization supporting physical education in Oklahoma.

Bill English is enjoying his retirement and "busy doing little things" in Lebanon, N. H. ... Frank Spencer, of the Portsmouth Navy Shipyard, is living at 18 Autumn St., Rochester, N. H.

Lloyd S. Riford, Chairman of the Board of the Beacon Milling Cos., Inc., at Cayuga, N. Y„ returned in October from a European tour and has started planning on his Hanover trip in June for his first reunion. Others who have not yet been back should surely follow his example for the Fortunate Fortieth.... EdRobinson from Portland, Me., will attend, as will Don Mason up from Baltimore, Md... .

Pierce Webster wants to know who is returning. Write him at 514 Bondi Bldg., Galesburg, 111., to tell him you will meet him there.

Pop Warren's daughter Harriet is a captain in the Women's Medical Specialty Corps, in the Occupational Therapy Dept., at Valley Forge Army Hospital, Phoenixville, Pa. Janet is Mrs. Alan White, now in Frankfurt, Germany, at the High Commission of Germany. John Warren received his Master's Degree at Columbia and married Nancy Hellweg of New York, a graduate of Bennington College and Kessler Institute.

Christmas cards and wishes poured in and we wish to thank all. Happy New Year to all of you.

Helen and have moved around the corner and over one avenue in Middletown, Conn., to 49 Brainerd Ave.

Louis Foster is managing the New York University Faculty Club in New York City and is living at Apt. 3N, 105-24-64 Rd., Forest Hills 75, N. Y The Nelson Gays and the Oscar Scharrers will definitely be at the reunion.

BOUND TO REPEAT: Reunion Chairman Henry Merrill 'l3 (I) with a group of reunioners he is sure he will see again next June, when they attend their Fortieth.
