Bob Lee, who was mentioned several months ago when he was named branch manager of White, Weld and Co.'s New Haven, Conn, office, has recently received the plaudits of his fellow townsmen of Fairfield, Conn. Bob, a selectman of that town, was highly complimented as a "fiscal and bonding authority" who has saved his town "thousands of dollars in interest charges during his term of office through his expert knowledge of the bond market." Bob's efforts in other fields also came to light - he has been active as a former chairman of the Fairfield Sewer Commission, secretary of the Flood and Erosion Commission, former resident chairman of the Fairfield Community Chest and former member of the board of managers of the YMCA. Bob and his wife Jean have three teen-aged children.

Bill Donohue is the new president and a director of Consumers Counsel, Inc., Minneapolis. Bill has previously been with Conde Nast Publications in Chicago.

The University Club of Oakland, Pa., is sporting a '45 as its new manager. WarrenSchleicher has made the move from Lexington, Ky., where he was the manager of the Phoenix Hotel. He, Gloria, and the two children will be living in Snowden Township.

Helen and Roland Beers were seen at a recent Dartmouth Medical Alumni meeting in Hanover, .at which Professor Emeritus Frederic P. Lord '98 was honored. Roland, who holds the position of professor of Radiation Biology and head of the department at both the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and School of Hygiene, is engaged in research and teaching in the field of Biochemistry. He is also a consultant for Miles Laboratories and, in this function, has recently been in Israel, teaching and working at the Weizmann Institute. Helen and Roland live in Baltimore and have four children ranging in age from eleven to nineteen, with their oldest son a sophomore at Hobart College.

Here and there. ... Norm Brown has been named to the newly created post of development director for the Brockton Taunton (Mass.) Gas Company. ... Tasker Hatch is now at the Bio-Medical Division, Lawrence Radiation Laboratory, Livermore, Calif. ... Bob Beatty has been appointed manager of public relations, Boise Cascade Corp., Boise, Idaho. ... Gene Wilkin was recently elected president of the Maine Association of Broadcasters. ... Nick Sandoe has been named by the College as director of the Office of Public Programs. Nick, who has been assistant to the College vice-president Orton Hicks '21, will be in charge of all public programs such as Commencement, Convocation, etc., will coordinate the Bicentennial planning and will continue the direction of Dartmouth Horizons. Both the College and the Class are fortunate to have capable men like Nick and our other classmates on the scene in Hanover. ... Art Carey is a member of the Social Studies department of the Ipswich, Mass., High School

Seen in the crowd rooting the Big Green to victory over Harvard were Jean and SteveHull, Laura and Paul Caravatt, Jack Burroughs, and Louise and Dick Southwick. ... A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!!!!
