The Dartmouth Club of Georgia has reinaugurated a Christmas luncheon for students home for the holiday, prospective applicants, and their fathers. Our first luncheon was held on December 26, at the new Howard Johnson's Restaurant, where 15 members enjoyed hearing from our six guests. Wallace Rogers '56 and Bob Cleveland '55 with his dad, Wayne, represented the College.
The Club has voted to move our regular monthly luncheon meeting place to the private dining room at Howard Johnson's. The last Thursday of every month remains as the meeting date.
Vail Haak Jr. '49 has transferred to the Atlanta Office of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Major John Merrill '37 has moved to Augusta, Dr. Edwin J. Robinson '39 to Camilla, and Frank W. Hartmann '43 to Dalton, Charles Van S. Mottla '47 to Newnan. Dr.Ben Read '32 recently moved to his new home at 390 Blackland Road, N. E. Speaking of news Ted Walter '46 became the father of a girl on December 29 exemption No. 2.
Win Snow '14, chairman of our enrollment committee, plans to call on private schools in Georgia in areas where we do not have alumni to distribute literature and discuss opportunities at Dartmouth with the headmasters. Win has been extending his travels as far as New York City and has been giving private showing of his color film library.
