Parents Chairman

William H. Coulson of Washington, D. C., honorary member of the Class of 1918, is Chairman of the Parents Committee for the 1953 Alumni Fund. Mr. Coulson, formerly a Colonel in the Army Reserve, is shown above in 1946 with his two Dartmouth sons, William H. Coulson Jr. '40 (left) and John L. Coulson '39 (right). He is now serving as Special Assistant in the Office of the Under Secretary of the Army.

Dartmouth parents in 1951 contributed $28,000 to the Alumni Fund and last year increased their gifts to $44,000. Mr. Coulson and his committee have set their 1953 goal at $50,000.
