Sunny weather, baseball, kegs of cold beer, tennis, and all the luscious eats you could hold made up a great stag outing at Louis Leverone's farm on August 12. If you missed this annual get-together, you made a mistake and we all hope that you'll be on hand for this much anticipated event next year.

The luncheon for entering freshmen and their fathers on September 8 will have been held by the time you read these lines. It's a big event for the new men of the Big Green from Chicagoland and one that many alumni have enjoyed supporting in the past years that it has been held. Hope that you were there. Must be great to be starting for the Hanover Plain!

October 1 is the date for the annual Dartmouth Night cocktail party at the University Club. The annual message will be sent to Hanover and it's anticipated that the special Green Teepee set up in the U Club will be bursting its well-bound seams with Injuns and their Squaws celebrating this hallowed night. Hope you enjoyed a good summer and will be pulling for the Big Green this fall - win, lose, or draw! You'll hear more soon about plans for the visit of the Glee Club to the Windy City in the early spring.
