Dartmouth Night was celebrated at the traditional cocktail party at the University Club where many of the old tribe were on hand to greet Indians new to the city and those that let us see them all too seldom. The joint meeting with the Cornell Club for the game will have taken place by the time these columns reach you. Join the big gathering at the annual party on the Friday night before Christmas and be sure to include Hanover Holiday in January on your list of activities for 1954. The latter will be held in conjunction with the meeting of the Alumni Council in Chicago. The Windy City is, of course, greatly honored in being selected as the site for this Pow-Wow and it's going to be all-out to show this distinguished group the virtues of the Windy City and the spirit and support that we give to the Big Green.
The report just received from the College Treasurer shows that our Scholarship Fund is growing steadily. Net proceeds from the Glee Club Concert last spring, which was such a great success, were added to the Fund. Each dollar that you contribute helps the Association reach the goal of contributing to the education of at least one man in each class from the Chicago area.
Old Dad Dearborn, who, as you know, was Eleazar Wheelock's cousin, is looking for you at those regular Monday luncheons at the Stevens Building Restaurant... new decor and prices to suit the wallet!
