The Dartmouth hockey team arrived in Denver at 11:55 A.M., December 31. The team was met by a reception committee headed by Norry Williamson and taken to its headquarters at the University of Denver. Evening found the team enjoying a New Year's dinner at the Denver Country Club, a theater party and a delightful midnight supper at the Richardl H. Shows'.

New Year's Day started with brunch for the team at the Rick Rickenbaughs', followed by a tour of Lookout Mountain, and the game.

The next day, Saturday, Don McKinlay's admissions committee put on a dandy luncheon at the American Legion Leyden-Chiles-Wickersham Post #1. Members of the team, undergraduates, prospects, friends and alumni present numbered 151. President Rickenbaugh '28 presided. Coach Jeremiah 30 brought us a real Dartmouth message straight from the heart. It was impressive to see a great coach equally great in his devotion to Dartmouth and his job of developing Dartmouth men.

Captain Peters '54 and Manager Dyche '54 of the team gave interesting talks and our own undergraduates, Bruce LaFollette and Monte Pasco '57, presented some fine and timely thoughts about the College.

At 5:00 P.M. this same day alumni and friends convened for a buffet supper at the University Club, arranged by Bill Berge's entertainment committee. This was followed by the second game and a late get-together back at the club.

Sunday afternoon the team flew to Colorado Springs and on Monday attended a fine luncheon at the Fountain Valley School. rangements were in charge of Mort McGinley. After the game that night the team enjoyed entertainment and supper at the home of Peggy Sayre Marshall.

The officers of our Association are indebted to the admissions committee, entertainment committee, and Colorado Springs group for their work in putting on this fine program. Many other alumni did more than their share in providing transportation and helping with the entertainment. Thanks to all.

Alumni of the Rocky Mountain region are proud of this Dartmouth hockey team and the men who play on it and of the fighting courage shown by each individual member of the team.
