Concluding event of our 1953-54 year was a picnic attended by Dartmouth men with their families, which was particularly enjoyable since all types of playground facilities, including swimming, were available for children. The party was held at the Burgundy Farms Country Day School in Alexandria, near Washington.
In the forthcoming year which will open, so far as we are concerned, with Dartmouth Night, we expect to have a number of informal occasions in which Dartmouth families can participate. Our thinking is that Dartmouth Night itself will be an informal affair, possibly a dance, at which a Dartmouth film would be shown and some of the College music would be played.
During the course of the year we expect to have five monthly luncheons at which speakers of outstanding prominence in national affairs will be our guests.
