It is most gratifying to note that 1886, with the loyal support of the class family, again leads all classes in percentage of contributors to the Alumni Fund. Full details will appear in this magazine later in the year.

Mary Lord Fairbanks, daughter of ArthurFairbanks, died in Watertown, Mass., on August 5. A talented poet and musician, Miss Fairbanks was most widely known for her paintings in oil and water colors and for her pen and ink sketches. Although her health began to fail nearly thirty years ago, she continued her varied activities with remarkable fortitude and cheerfulness until her physical condition made it impossible to do more. Many members of the class family undoubtedly remember Mary Fairbanks and will be saddened to learn of her death.
