Perthite as a Source of Potassium for CropPlants, a study by Prof. Charles J. Lyon, was published in November by the New Hampshire State Planning & Development Commission as a pamphlet of 36 pages.

Prof. James A. Browning '44 and Merle L. Thorpe '51 are the authors of Lateral Blowoffof a Bunsen Flame which has been reprinted from the October number of Industrial andEngineering Chemistry. Professor Browning has also written New Flames for Torches now reprinted from the November issue of Welding Engineer.
