On the 19th of March, I started for Florida. My car was loaded with a cargo of a domestic nature. About every square inch of space not occupied by passengers was filled with useful merchandise.

The passengers were my son Robert (the driver), a friend of the family, Mrs. Rose Martin, and the Secretary of the class of 1895, he being Roland E. Stevens.

We arrived safely after a stop of two days in Baltimore, and now we three voyagers are moving about in Florida and plan to keep rolling until about the first week in May. Classmate Austin is our landlord, and a good one. He lets us do as we please and we are well fed by a good cook, Mrs. Martin.

Austin has been one of my best correspondents all the past years. I am hoping he will attend our 60th next June.

We are soon to observe our 60th reunion. Classmate Joel Harley has a beautiful home here, and I call to see him frequently. He is a sick man, but is having the best of care. Unfortunately he is not able to walk, but he is well cared for in his wheel chair by Mrs. Harley and his daughter, Gertrude, of Madison, Wise.
