New faculty members are: Robert S. Burger, research editor, from the Louisville, Ky., Courier-Journal; Henry M. Piatt, assistant director of research, from Columbia University; and John D. Van Blarcom, assistant professor of business administration (he's teaching production), on leave from G. E.
Mr. Burger has also been with the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the St. Paul Dispatch and the Rochester, Minn., Post-Bulletin. He has taught journalism at the University of Minnesota and Southern Illinois University.
Mr. Piatt, a lecturer at Columbia's Graduate School of Business Administration, taught "The Economics of Business" there. He taught general economics and economic theory at Dartmouth College in 1950-51.
Mr. Van Blarcom has been with G. E. more than three years, first in employee relations, then on the faculty of its Advanced Management Course at Crotonville, N. Y. He was previously in production engineering with Sikorsky Helicopter Co., Bridgeport, Conn.; Northwest Airlines, St. Paul, Minn., and Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp., Aliquippa, Pa.
Mr. Morton's booklet, "Putting Words to Work," was reprinted (again!) in the September and October issues of Manage, the official publication of the National Management Association.
