Since the last issue of these notes yours truly has moved to the above address and requests that all correspondence be mailed here. Actually the mailbag has been a little skimpy of late but my information from other class secretaries is that prior to Reunion the mail usually jumps slightly in volume. If there are any queries concerning the Fantastic Fifteenth please pass them along to me and I'll try to answer them as completely as possible. Or you can send your inquiries directly to Snuffy Smith, our Reunion Chairman, in Hanover, N. H.

I have an item from a New Britain, Conn., newspaper which I have not reported in this column previously, although the event actually took place in 1955. The New Britain General Hospital announced that Dr. MontyWinship has been certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as a specialist in the field of psychiatry. Monty received his M.D. from Boston University in 1948 and served a rotating internship at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans. For the next three years he was a resident in psychiatry at the ' Menninger Foundation, Topeka, Kansas, and from 1952 to 1953 he was a Fellow at the Austin Riggs Centre in Stockbridge, Mass. He entered the private practice of psychiatry in late 1953 and is a junior attending psychiatrist on the staff of the New Britain General Hospital. Monty is married and has three children. If any of them are boys, we hope they grow up to be tackles or guards. Hope we'll see you at the 15th, Monty.

Another '41er has made the news as a doctor in Connecticut. Dr. William "Zeke" Billings has opened an office in Guilford. Zeke is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology and his office marks something new in the line of doctor's offices, too. The office is in a home which was built by one of Guilford's earliest settlers in 1639. Every care has been taken to preserve the original atmosphere of the house. The reception room is the original keeping room and the examination room was once the parlor. Of course within these early American surroundings is the most modern of medical equipment. Zeke had been teaching at the Yale Medical School and will continue there as a clinical instructor. He and Mrs. Billings have three daughters and three sons.

Charlie Schlenker has been for the past six months with the Wheeler H. King Agency of the New England Mutual Life Insurance Company, New York City. Charlie lives in Teaneck, N. J., and prior to his new association was in the advertising business, having been with the Bureau o£ Advertising as an account executive in the food classification and then six years as an account executive and market analyst with the J. M. Mathes, Inc., advertising agency. During the war, Charlie was a platoon leader in the Marine Corps. He and his wife have two children. I wanted to get all that information in because I don't think I've had an opportunity in the past to include any copy on Charlie.

George Wrisley is assistant sales manager in the Lever Division of Lever Brothers in New York. Jim Rogers has been appointed production engineer for the Washington Post and Times-Herald. His immediate assignment concerns research and planning in connection with the paper's building expansion plans. From 1948 through 1953 he was in charge of building construction and alterations of the seventeen Hearst newspapers, as well as American Weekly, King Features and INS. Recently he has been an engineering consultant.

The old curve-balling right-hander, GeorgeSexton, is back in his native State of Massachusetts. George and a partner have purchased the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. of Worcester, Mass. He will act as secretary-treasurer of the company. The purchase of the business was the culmination of a goal set up by the two men five years ago. They met shortly after World War II and began a search for a business of their own. George has had plenty of experience in merchandise sales and promotion, having been employed by the Crown and Central Petroleum Co. of Elizabeth, N. J., since 1949. Something tells me that George picked the location in New England, knowing how fond he is of that section of the country. No advertising plugs in this column but here's hoping sales climb and keep climbing.

Appointment of Joe Rich as personnel director of the Freihofer Baking Co. was recently announced. Joe formerly was training director for Sharpe and Dohme and personnel director for Blumenthal Bros, chocolate firm. In addition to his degree from Dartmouth, he holds a degree from the University of Illinois and is completing his doctorate in Group Relations at Temple University.

Another appointment to report this month is that of Joe Guidrey as manager of the Internal Auditing Department of Sylvania Electric Products. Joe's present office is at 1740 Broadway, the company's executive offices, but he will transfer shortly to the organization's new Data Processing Center at Camillus, N. Y., when that facility is placed in service about February 1. He joined Sylvania in 1953 with the Tungsten and Chemical Division. Previously he was controller of the Heyden Chemical Corporation.

A most welcome Christmas card greeting which I did not mention in last month's notes came to me from Germany from Fred Begole - the old peerless sports writer. Fred is still with American Express and it is our fondest hope he'll be back next spring for the Reunion. That about winds it up for another month. Remember the 15th!
