Since the last issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE our efforts have been largely taken up by enrollment activities. We understand that our experience is largely similar to that of the other clubs around the nation, but the number of boys interested in going to Dartmouth has just about doubled over last year. The members of our organization have risen to the challenge, however, and an equally unprecedented number of alumni have been helping out Bill Hinkle's ('33) Interview Board and Rem Drury's ('48) Enrollment Committee. For prospective members of the Class of 1960 we have had four formal meetings with the boys and their parents. These meetings have included movies or film slides, talks by alumni, and refreshments. Supplementing this work have been individual conferences with the boys and their parents, either at their own request or our suggestion. Since the deadline has come for submission of applications, this activity is being wrapped up and all of us owe Bill and Rem and their groups a large vote of appreciation.
Our farm club in Meadville, represented by Phil Benjamin '26 and Ted Seely '26, report a similar increase in applications. All this amid a 30-year report Phil is helping to assemble for the Class of '26. Phil also mentioned that he had just presented to the College a picture of Richard Hovey as an undergraduate.
A special notice has just gone out to the members in Western Pennsylvania that the site of our weekly luncheon has been changed from Danny's Restaurant to the Eleventh Floor of Kaufmann's Department Store. The actual location of our private dining room is a little hard to describe, but we suggest to all who might be paying us a visit that they check with the head waiter.
