Ethel and Walter Powers spent the Washington Birthday weekend at the Hanover Inn. No report was made as to whether or not Walter took his kayak with him.
An extra-curricular activity of CharlieCrane is writing an industrial column for all the Vermont newspapers. The title of the column is "Made In Vermont" and is described as a conversational column about the Past, Present and Future of Vermont Industry and sundry incidental material.
The Boston dinner of the Seven Classes will be held on Friday, May 1. This year the committee is trying to get as many members of the 1903 Football Team as possible to attend, so if you are one of them be sure to be present, if possible. And if you were not a member attend the dinner anyway.
The 1953 Alumni Fund Campaign officially opened on April 1. The class quota has been increased this year, so it is up to each one of us to increase the amount of our gift.
In the 1952 class ranking on percentage of objective, 1906 was in 23rd place. With a little help from everyone we ought to be a lot nearer the top this year.
Ned French, Joe Nuelle and your secretary spent a few days in Dick's House the first of January. Our visit was especially enjoyable because of J. die's hospitality in permitting us to use his room for our all-day meetings.
