Christmas Nightingale by Prof. Emeritus Eric P. Kelly '06 has been dramatized by Mrs. Phyllis Groff of Charleston, West Virginia. It was produced in the following places during the Christmas season, under the auspices of the Children's Theater Press of Anchorage, Kentucky: two performances by the Children's Theater of Charleston, West Virginia; two performances at the University of Denver, Colorado; two by the Children's Theater of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; one performance by the Roosevelt Junior High School, Amsterdam, New York; two by St. Catherine's School, Richmond, Virginia; two by St. Henry High School, Eau Galle, Wisconsin; children's theater, Manila, P. I.; high school, Chase Park, Chicago. A play made out of the story In Clean Hay was produced four times in the Palo Alto, California, Municipal Theater. Preparations are being made for a performance of Christmas Nightingale, wholly in puppet show, in Boulder, Colorado.
