The news which overshadows all my column this month is the sudden death of our classmate, Louis Leverone, on March 15 in the St. Joseph's Hospital, Chicago. In another section of this issue will be found an "In Memoriam to Jig," as he was affectionately known to all of us. Columns could be printed telling the success story of Jig, but it was those qualities of mind and heart which made him the man who won the respect and affection of all his classmates as well as of those of his business associates. A good man gone to rest.

Mrs. Penfield Mower (Dr. Sara M. Jordan) in March delivered the Lowell Lectures in Boston. She is the second woman ever to be invited to give these famous lectures since their inauguration in 1836 by John Lowell. During the past go years the Lowell lecturers have included many of the most distinguished personages of the times, - statesmen, scholars, writers and representatives of leading professions. An invitation to deliver the Lowell Lectures is in itself recognition of distinguished achievement. As many of the class know, Dr. Jordan is Director of the Department of Gastroenterology in the famous Lahey Clinic of Boston.

Nice fetter from Matt Bullock from Curacao, N.A. Prior to Matt's arrival in the Caribbean area, he gave a series of lectures to a number of southern colleges. He has spent most of the winter months in Curacao and before his return in time for the reunion in June will visit Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Matt boasts of the arrival of a grandson, Matthew Washington Bullock, born to George W. and Julia B. Gaddy of Detroit. It makes the fifth grandchild for Matt.

The class reunion dates in Hanover are June 10, xi, 12, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the week following Commencement. Rooms have been reserved in South Massachusetts Hall and if you are planning to be with us, write to the College Treasurer for your reservations.

When Mose Withey ends his Florida visit and one with the Fletchers in Chattanooga he will spend the summer in his new cottage which is nearing completion near Sister Bay in Wisconsin. A great sorrow came to Mose and lola when their son-in-law, William J. Dorrans, was killed in an airplane crash last November. He was the husband of the Withey's youngest daughter, Mildred.

The man Woods is getting to be quite a feller. My local paper "The Berkshire Evening Eagle" of Pittsfield, Mass., recently gave a whole column telling of the fine contribution Carl is making to the State of Massachusetts through the Massachusetts Development Corporation. Nice work Carl.

Ned Bartlett sends a clipping from his home paper, "The News," of Sarasota, Fla., recounting the annual Dartmouth Dinner with Bill Cunningham '19 of "The Boston Herald" as guest speaker. Nice picture of Ned and Bill.

Your secretary had a chat by telephone with the Gormleys; address 7551 S.W. 102nd Street, Kendall, Fla. Gorm is still confined to his home from injuries suffered by falls, but is active in business and looks forward to being his old self again. The family was delighted to hear from the class.
