A father and son combination of Coach Red Hoehn and first-ranked player Dick Hoehn is currently sparking the Dartmouth squash team to what may be one of its best seasons in recent years. Thus far the Indians have defeated M.I.T., 9-0, Cornell, 7-2, and McGill, 8-1.

Dick Hoehn firmed up his reputation as one of the top collegiate squash stars by winning the Christmas Intercollegiate Squash Tournament held in New York during the holidays. He is also currently undefeated in regular play this winter. Captain Dan Pierson, ranked second, is also undefeated. Dave Shepard, Bob Buffington, Jack MacDonough, Phil Langley, Don Bartlett and Marty Zipser are currently ranked in that order.

Ready to step in as replacements are three sophomores whom Coach Hoehn regards as promising - Sam French, Hobbie Miller and Cliff Russell. The toughest matches, most of them against Eastern League opponents, will be faced in February, but the Dartmouth team this year should more than hold its own.
