The Robert B. Taylors of Andover, Mass., have recently purchased a house with a lovely view in the delightful town of Peter-borough, N. H. For the present, they will use it as a summer home. Eventually, after Mr. Taylor's retirement from the teaching staff of Phillips Andover Academy, it will be their permanent home.
The article that appeared m recent issues of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE about my first visit to Russia in January 1912 has brought interesting letters from many sources far and wide. Mrs. Benjamin Ellis of Evanston, Ill., writes that she has just been reading my article in the February 1958 issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE about my trip to Russia in January 1912. "Both my daughters," she wrote, "have read it, and we are fascinated with your description of the visit. What a wonderful opportunity to have seen such a ceremony on the banks of the Neva River. In Life we have seen the pictures of the events leading up to the Russian Revolution, and you were indeed fortunate in having seen the grandeur that was Russia's at that period."
From far-away Stuttgart, in Germany, comes an airmail letter from Col. Laurence W. Lougee '29, Circuit Judge, Judiciary Branch, Headquarters 7th U. S. Army. He writes: "We are enjoying very much your articles on your Russian visit in January, 1912, and look forward to each subsequent issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE."
