June Luncheon Speakers

ALUMNI speakers at the series of three College luncheons to be held during the Commencement and Reunion period next month will include Lauris G. Treadway '08, for the 50-Year Class; Justin A. Stanley '33, president of the General Alumni Association; Ellsworth B. Buck '14, vice president of the General Association; and Guy P. Wallick '21, president of the Dartmouth Alumni Council.

Mr. Treadway will give the traditional 50-year address at the Commencement luncheon, Saturday, June 7, at which event President Dickey and Sidney C. Hayward '26, Secretary of the College, will also speak. Mr. Buck will preside at the Alumni Luncheon on Tuesday, June 10, for the Classes of 1912, 1913, 1914 and 1918; and Mr. Stanley will preside at the second reunion luncheon, Saturday, June 14, for the Classes of 1933, 1937, 1938, 1939 and 1948. President Dickey and Mr. Hayward also will speak at these two luncheons, and on June 14, Mr. Wallick, as president of the Alumni Council, will present the annual Alumni Awards.

Twelve classes are holding official reunions next month. Their reunion chairmen are: 1898, Oscar P. Tabor Jr.; 1903, M. Richard Brown; 1908, Malcolm Stearns; 1912, Wyckoff L. Garrison; 1913, George H. Knight; 1914, William C. Hands Jr.; 1918, C.F. Mugridge; 1933, William T. Dewey; 1937, Carl P. Ray; 1938, Carl F. Von Pechmann; 1939, Walter Darby; and 1948, Richmond Landon Jr.

The Dartmouth Alumni Council will hold its annual June meeting in Hanover from June 11 to 13, which will enable members to attend either of the two reunion periods on the same visit.

Justin A. Stanley '33, president of the General Association of Alumni, will preside at the reunion luncheon on Saturday, June 14.
