Alumni Council Nearing A Full Roster of Fifty

Among the twenty new members of the Dartmouth Alumni Council who took office July 1 are the sixteen men shown here. The other four, whose pictures appeared in the July issue, are Victor Borella '30, representing the class chairmen; Charles F. McGoughran '20, the class secretaries; Charles F. Bruder '28, the class bequest chairmen; and Dr. Herbert S. Talbot '25, the class newsletter editors.

The Alumni Council, enlarged from forty to fifty members by vote of the General Alumni Association last June, now has 48 members. Next spring, in the regular Council elections, District I (New England) and District II (Middle Atlantic States) will each add one more representative to their present three, to bring the Council up to its full membership of fifty.
