Your Philadelphia Club's big event for the month and, for that matter, for the whole year is coming up on Wednesday evening, March 18. Prof. Allen M. Foley '20 speaks at our Annual Dinner at the Overbrook Golf Club in Bryn Mawr on that date. His speech will be preceded by cocktails, our Club annual business meeting (which we guarantee will be short), and an excellent roast sirloin of beef dinner. The ladies are very definitely invited, and the program will conclude with dancing to the strains of a really hot combo which plays regularly at Overbrook.

By now you should all have received the mailing piece giving full details for the evening. Please make your reservations promptly. If for some reason you have failed to receive the notice, telephone the Club Secretary during business hours at KI 5-0456; and you will be supplied with a copy.

Icy weather which turned the Philadelphia area into the customary snarl reduced attendance at our fourth special last-Monday-of-the-month luncheon to a meager 16 on January 26. Those who were there learned all about the functions of the College Alumni Council from Stewart H. Steffey '41, Class Treasurers' representative, and Joseph C. Mansfield '44, Philadelphia area representative. Those two men had just returned from the winter meeting of the Council in Han over.

Lest you forget, the Dartmouth Clan gathers at the Dartmouth-Princeton Club at Locust and Camac Streets in downtown Philadelphia every Monday at noon, not just on those occasions when we have a speaker or some other special feature once a month.
