Class Reunion - The 10th Hanover — June 19, 20, 21
It's a lovely warm March day as I write this, and spring can't be far away. The Big Green has already wrapped up the Ivy Hockey title, and this week's showdown games will decide the basketball title too. Win or lose this week, it's been quite an athletic year for the Indians. I see that our last hockey title was our senior year. Nice to be back on top!!!
My news is again rather sparse this month. The most interesting piece of mail was the letter from Jay Urstadt's Reunion committee regarding the "definites" and "probables" for the big June weekend. So far the quantity looks most impressive, and it should be a helluvah fine affair. Have you made your plans yet?? Don't miss it. I see too that the committee will organize a big Reunion dinner in New York within two months to attempt to stimulate further interest. Jay is doing a bang-up job.
From Peter New out in Kansas City comes a clipping which really scooped local news-items about Johnny Stockwell. It seems that John has been named administrator of Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, to take office in March. John has been an administrative assistant here in Providence at the Rhode Island Hospital, and now has made the big step. He leaves R. I. later this week. Ironically, I heard the announcement just this morning on local radio stations, though we had heard from Nancy earlier this week. It's a fine promotion, and our congratulations go out to the Stockwells.
Dartmouth's champion hockey team plays here in Providence tomorrow night, and we'll have our usual pre-game dinner at the Topps-Gaylord Restaurant across the street from the Auditorium. In addition to the Stockwells, I expect to see the Kilmartins, the Mac Arthurs, the Magowns, and probably the Nolans.
