Sad news again. Three more good classmates have been to their last reunion. Our ranks are thinning too fast which makes the remaining years more significant and precious. We bow our heads, in memory of:

If you didn't know it, you'll be interested and glad to hear that '08 made its quota in the Alumni Fund drive and by the generous amount of 134%. You can't keep a good class down.
Alanson Alden writes from Union, N. J., "After all, 74 is not so old. My wife and I have been lucky and are enjoying good health. We get up to New England twice a year, particularly at foliage time.
Syd Ruggles has been on safari for most of September with a visit to New Jersey and Connecticut.
A note from Hanover marks a recent visit there from Park Stickney of Chicago. Wish we could have all seen him.
An announcement of the wedding of James B. Furman to Miss Ann Pope will be interesting to '08, as James is none other than the son of our Walter and incidentally Attorney General of New Jersey.
T. I. Dunn tells that only a visit to their daughter in California kept them from attending the informal reunion last May.
Pop Chesley has reached the mile post 79. Truly he is one of the patriarchs of our Class and a worthy one too. Take this, Pop, as a handshake from the whole Class.
One of my pleasant summer experiences at The Bethel Inn in Maine, where I spent most of the summer, was to run into Charlieand Louise Walker who were there for a visit as is their custom. Charlie played golf and between times we et, drank and talked. Ain't it a small woild?
Dartmouth 15, Penn o. That was like finding that you had a thousand more in your bank account than you thought. Wow!
