Warren Kreter reports the usual enthusiastic response from classmates as he rounded out the assistant agent group for this year's fund campaign. The rest is up to us to follow through on the program he has set forth which will wind up next month. The New York dinner for agents, held at the Hotel Astor on March 29, found a metropolitan nucleus present of John Corwith, GeorgeRounds, Dick Smith and Milt Williams. Through receipt of the Newsletter, you know of the progress to date. This is a big job which requires the support of everyone.

Armstrong Cork Company recently promoted Fritz Heinbokel to a position with the Real Estate Department in Lancaster, Penna., where he will assist in the administering of the company's real estate, including the handling of rentals, purchases, and easements. Fritz joined Armstrong in 1948, following graduation from Tuck School, in the capacity of plant cost accountant. Since that time he has held various positions in the Controller's and Tax Departments.

Bill Dillon of Holyoke, Mass., was named temporary chief of the Pittsfield office of the State Department of Corporations and Taxation in February, a position he will hold until it is filled from a Civil Service list. Bill is a senior tax examiner for the state department which he joined in 1950 following a term in the State Legislature as a representative from the 14th district.

The firm of Hastings, Snyder, Rockwell, and List combined forces with Crowell and Leibman of Chicago the first of the year, all members becoming partners of the latter organization. Dave List has actively pursued his legal career in Chicago since graduating from Harvard Law in 1948 when he became associated with MacLeist, Spray, Price, and Underwood.

In the short note section we find the following bits of information which we high- light herewith: Al Bisson, a captain with Pan American World Airways, is now residing in Frankfurt AM Main, Germany Dick Deane of Ridgewood, N. J., is a sales representative for the Sealright Company, Inc. of Fulton, N. Y .... Judd Mulally is living in St. Paul, Minn., and practices law in the same city. ... Bill Provost, a commander in the U. S. Navy, has returned to sea duty, this time aboard the destroyer USS Hull operating in the Pacific ... as an attorney for Southern Pacific Company in San Francisco. Bob McLean continues his association which began in 1947. .... We assume the Institutional Trade Division of which Mel Lee is sales manager represents a division of OwensIllinois Glass with which Lee had been associated since the late forties. He is currently working in Toledo, Ohio.... Hal Peterson, who had done market research work for Glenn L. Martin Company and for a while was an accountant with General Electric, currently has an Oldsmobile agency in Jenkintown. Penna Chan Thomas, recently with General Electric as a sales engineer, is now a military sales representative in the communication division of Hughes Aircraft Corp. of Los Angeles. Chan's career has been devoted to airborne electronics in the fields of controls, communications, navigation and missile guidance. He is a senior member of the Institute of Radio Engineers and at one time was project engineer on the Rascal missile and A and D Skyhawk.
