Though to his great regret, he has no financial connection with the concern, your Secretary has received a copy of the handsome Annual Report of the Gulf Oil Corporation for 1960, which contains a splendid photograph of J.F. Drake as "Emeritus" Member of the Board of Directors. "Duckie" is at the moment off on one of his frequent European jaunts, but writes that he will be back in this country by the middle of June.

Another whose activities have been reported in the daily press is "Duke" de-Anguerra, though with his usual modesty he did not inform me of the fact of his own accord. It seems that the church of which he is the pastor, at its annual meeting unanimously adopted a resolution honoring him for the work he has been doing in his community. He himself gives all credit to his wife. While this is doubtless true, I am sure that all of you will be glad to read what his church thinks of him. The citation runs in part as follows: "Rev. Herman de-Anguerra. Preacher, Teacher, Pastor, Musician, Craftsman, Organizer and Friend to all. ... In sincere appreciation for these and countless other services of loyal dedication and unselfish devotion to this church and her people the past ten years, this citation is presented by The First Congregational Church of Wakefield, Massachusetts, January 31. 1961." The Class adds its congratulations.

Word has just been received of the death of F.B. Riley after a long illness in a Veterans Hospital near Detroit on March 28, 1961, at the age of 82. A more extended notice follows.
