Colonel Ducky Drake has included in his usual winter program an extensive trip to numerous ports in the Caribbean area. Another visitor, presumably on his annual trip to these warmer climes, is our President Chet Studwell. His boat was hit by heavy seas and it is reported that Chet was spilled, but came out whole. He is temporarily with his son Ed '31 in Bennington, Vt.

John Walker is now in a retirement home in Florida and will not be able to get to our reunion. His address is Marantua Heights Retirement Home, 255 East Main Street, Lake Alfred, Fla., 33850. John was one of seven men attending our 65th.

Have you read "Doctor Tucker's Dartmouth" edited by Bob Leavens and Arthur Lord? If not, you probably don't know what men of 1902 are mentioned therein. I talked to Mrs. Howard (Jane Gile) Chivers to get word on Arthur Chivers. He is well, living alone in Meriden, N. H., and expects to attend our '70th. Howard is running the "Skiway" and in spite of snow conditions reports a very successful season. His summer activities with Jane include the excellent camp for boys at Tamagami in Northern Ontario. Arthur's sons, Roland and John are in Boulder, Colo., and Warren, elected to the Ski Hall of Fame, still teaches and coaches at Vermont Academy.

Tom Barnes' daughter, Mrs. O. H. Clapp, has written one book on her personal experiences in India and is working on another.

The Reunion Committee is trying to get messages from as many as possible sons, daughters and widows of deceased classmates to be read at the Reunion. Messages from classmates who are unable to attend the Reunion are also welcome. If you know of anyone who has not heard from the committee, or anyone who has postponed writing, a little bit of prodding will enhance the spirit of our 70th. These messages and words from the classmates who will attend the Reunion will be sent to those connected with 1902. Our pride in the College and our affection for our classmates and other Dartmouth men will be reflected in our response to this request.
