Congratulations are in order for Bob Craig who will lead our Alumni Fund Drive effort this year as Head Class Agent. Bob is experienced with Fund activities in years gone by. Giving early and generously is the best each of us can do to help Bob guide us to a successful year.

Ray Lawrence has been appointed district manager for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. in the Newark downtown area. Ray has been a commercial staff supervisor in Newark. He joined the company in 1946 and has held various supervisory positions, including managership of business offices in South River, Red Bank, and Newark.
Tom Chace has been named product manager for airframe and missile applications for Wyman-Gordon of Worcester, Mass. Tom joined Wyman-Gordon in 1953 after completing engineering assignments with the Bird Machine Co. and Great Northern Paper Co. Previous to that, he was a teacher-coach at New Hampton School in New Hampshire.
We are pleased to hear that Leo Cunningham has been made a partner in the Burns and McDonnell Engineering Company of Kansas City, Mo. He has been associated with this firm in various engineering capacities since 1947.
Casey Drew of Florham Park, N. J., has announced his plans to run on the Republican ticket for Borough Council. He has been with the Western Electric Company for fifteen years. During this span, he has held various engineering and administrative positions and at present directs their Wage and Salary Practices Organization. He has been an active member of the Fire Department for the past six years, now acting as Treasurer of Company No. 1, and has served on the Mayor's Job Evaluation Committee. In recent years he has been a member of the Newark Junior Chamber of Commerce and an advisor in Junior Achievement.
A welcome letter from Bob Ashleigh tells that he has received a Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and has earned his secondary principal's certificate in Pennsylvania. After his release from the service in 1954, Bob taught English and social studies at the Bala-Cynwyd High School in Lower Merion Township, Penna. He is now Associate Coordinator of Research for the Power Information Center at the University of Pennsylvania. This is an active center for the distribution of information on all power, except propulsive, used in flight vehicles. Bob finds his new position fascinating, but misses teaching. Bob and wife Francine have three sons, one daughter, and extend a welcome to all those visiting the Philadelphia area.
