A gala social affair for Dartmouth alumni and wives living in the Charles River region was held Saturday afternoon April 1. The occasion was a spring Tea Dance which was held in the main ballroom of the Wellesley Country Club and an event which may well be repeated for many years to come.
The dance got under way at four o'clock and ran until eight in the evening and the committee was most gratified to see such a fine turnout among the younger classes. Music for the dance was furnished by the popular Guy Stevens' orchestra and reports coming in indicate those attending had a wonderful time.
Throughout the year the club has held a number of executive meetings at the home of the club President William B. Squier '40 and at the next meeting which will be held this month plans will be formulated for the fall activities.
