It is with regret that we report here the resignation of Bill Craver as assistant football coach and head wrestling coach. Effective February 1, Bill becomes assistant football coach at Colorado State University under Milo "Mike" Lude, his former line coach at the University of Delaware. Bill has been a member of the Dartmouth coaching staff since 1958 and has worked with the freshman line and varsity linebackers. Under his mentorship, the wrestling program at Dartmouth has grown as a varsity sport.

For the remainder of the season, Whitey Burnham, who has assisted Bill with the wrestlers, will assume the head coaching assignment. Whitey is already coach of soccer and lacrosse.

Peter L. Coker of Allentown, Pa., has been elected captain of the freshman basketball team. A 6-5, 217-pound forward, he is averaging better than 22 points a game. In high school basketball he was All-Lehigh Valley and a member of the All-Pennsylvania second team. He is described by freshman coach Tony Lupien as a young man whose "potential is unlimited."

Among those skiing in the Hanover Invitational Ski Meet in January was former Green star Dick Taylor '59. Dick is now a member of the Army's Biathalon team, Uncle Sam's riflemen on skis. He anchored the cross-country team which finished only one minute and four seconds behind the FIS team.
