Zeb White '36, president of the Dartmouth Club of New Haven, has announced that a fund has been established to provide scholarship assistance to boys entering the College. The announcement followed the successful sponsorship once again this year of a fund-raising event, the annual John Jay personally narrated ski film. Funds raised through such events, interest on funds already at hand, and membership dues will make the scholarship fund possible, according to Charles E. Rauch '30, chairman of the Scholarship Committee and first vice president of the club. While the local club will provide the funds for an annual scholarship for a boy from the greater New Haven area, the actual administration of the scholarship selection will be carried out through the college.

Members of the committee in addition to Zeb White '36 and Charlie Rauch '30 include, Richard S. Carr Jr. '49, secretary; William B. Gumbart Jr. '50, treasurer, and Martin J. DeGennaro '53, immediate past president of the club. Leo Silverstein '43 and Alan J. McRean Jr. '43 were co-chairmen of the committee in charge of the John Jay fund-raising event which was the most successful held in the club's history.

Another successful event sponsored recently by the club was a party held after the Dartmouth-Yale hockey game. The party was attended by some eighty guests who played host to the members of the Dartmouth hockey team and Eddie Jeremiah. In charge of arrangements for the affair was William F. Whitmarsh '43 assisted by club president, Zeb White '36, and Dartmouth alumni who are attending the Yale School of Forestry, in whose quarters the affair took place.
