The Dartmouth Club of Hawaii was honored to have George H. Colton '35, Director of Development for the College, and his lovely wife Ruth as guests at its annual dinner on March 11 at the Robert Louis Stevenson Room of the Princess Kaiulani Hotel in Honolulu. More than 65 alumni and their wives, friends of the college, and officials of secondary schools attended the festivities. George Colton gave a most accurate and stimulating report on the current activities and the ultimate objectives of the College and its progressive role in the furtherance of advanced education.

Club President, Ralph A. Van Orsdel Jr.'38 presided. At the head table, with Ralph and his wife, Evelyn, were seated the classmates of George Colton, Pug Aiherton and his wife Berta and Fltz Donnell with his wife Mimi.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Choy, parents of Ronald Choy of the Freshman Class at Dartmouth and Mr. and Mrs. Dirzon whose son was in the Class of 1953 were among the guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Hank Embree '30, Col. J. F. Drake '02, and Leland P. Spore '14 were among the visitors to Hawaii who joined the Club at the dinner.

Among the honored guests were Dr. John Fox, President of Punahou School; Col. and Mrs. Harold Kent, President of Kamehameha Schools and Reverend and Mrs. Burton A. Mac Lean, Headmaster of Iolani School.

During his visit in Hawaii, George Colton met with students interested in Dartmouth from the public and private high schools, showing the film "Dartmouth Visited" and answering any questions concerning enrollment at Dartmouth.

Jack Mullen '54, Allen Woodell '54, DickMorse '38 and Fitz Donnell '35 worked with Ralph Van Orsdel '38 on the arrangements for the dinner and George and Ruth's activities in Honolulu.
