By now, I am sure that everyone is in a fever pitch of anticipation for the 10th Reunion. Until then, here's the latest.
Chris Patti has recently wed Jocelyn Larkin. Chris is a lawyer with the San Francisco firm of Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe. Stephen Meager, an assistant U.S. attorney in San Francisco, was best man. Also present was Tom Isaacson, a lawyer with the Washington, D.C., office of Howrey & Simon.
Tom wrote me with news of other Phi Psi/debaters. Peter Hutchins is an attorney in Manchester, N.H. Iain Beveridge is doing software development at Lotus in Cambridge. Tony Piggee is a manager at a public opinion research firm in Silver Spring, Md.
In other news, Alan Putney, associate actuary and director, Hartford Insurance Group, Hartford, Conn., has achieved the distinction of fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society. Alan was recognized at the diamond jubilee meeting of the Casualty Actuarial Society held at the Waldorf Astoria last November. Alan, it just doesn't get any better than that. When Alan is not computing when the rest of us will have accidents and die, he enjoys home life with his wife, Lisa, and son David in Farmington, Conn.
The MAC Group, an international management consulting firm, has announced the promotion of Robert B. Hedges Jr. to vice president. With the firm since 1984, Bob specializes in corporate strategy, organization, and performance improvement in the financial services industry, particularly for super-regional banks. He is a member of the editorial advisory board of Commercial Lending Review ana a frequent speaker at national banking industry conferences.
Tom Bartlett left for his Peace Corps assignment in Pakistan on January 2. He will be training English teachers. A sense of adventure and the challenge prompted Tom to join the Peace Corps. Says Tom, "I have a deep admiration for Peace Corps volunteers and for the program. I feel it's the right time in my life for this experience."
Joe Misiewicz, along with wife, Georgette, and sons Michael and Eric, have recently relocated to Laconia, N.H., from Phoenix. Joe has assumed a retiring doctor's family practice in Meredith, N.H.
I recently saw Cami Crone Bilger, who was kind enough to visit here in Savannah while visiting her parents in Charleston, S.C. Cami and Brent have a beautiful daughter, Christen. They survived the earthquake and Cami's parents made it through Hugo.
