Freshman Sports

The freshman baseball team, under the mentorship of Eddie Jeremiah, has only a 2-1 record, beating K.U.A. 19-3 and Harvard 3-0, while losing to Worcester Academy 6-4.

Other freshman teams either stand even at 1-1 or show a losing record. The golf team edged Amherst 4-3, but bowed to Exeter 6-1. The '65 track team has finished its season with a 1-2 mark, defeating Andover 84-41 and losing to both Harvard and Brown in a triangular contest. A third meet with Boston University was cancelled.

The '64 tennis team thus far has beaten only Brown 7-2. Andover outplayed the Green 7-2 and Harvard was as tough as always 8-1. And finally the freshman lacrosse team has managed only one victory in five contests. K.U.A. was downed, while defeats were administered by Exeter, K.U.A., Deerfield, and Harvard.
