Our Sixtieth Reunion was an even greater success than we anticipated. The informality of no set program and the relaxing atmosphere of the Woodstock Inn provided the setting we desired for the last official gathering of the Class. The complete list of those attending will be given elsewhere, but of the 38 known living members of the class, seventeen were present, as well as twenty other members of our family. There was only one formal meeting at which the following officers were elected: President, P. P. Thompson; Vice President, C. A. Studwell; Treasurer, R. C. Clark; Alumni Fund Agent, H. W. Farwell; Secretary, J. A. Brown. The latter will continue to serve as Newsletter Editor. As his Advisory Council, the new president appointed G. L. Dow,J.F. Drake, C. H. Dudley.
The treasurer reported that the Class is solvent with balances in checking and savings accounts, and the class agent expressed his conviction that our quota for the Alumni Fund would be met before June 30. There was some discussion of the method of maintaining interest in the College by families of deceased class members, and the matter was left with power to the officers and Council. Everyone expressed the hope that there might be future get-togethers of the Class even if there are no more official reunions.
William F. Geiger '92 was honored atthe Commencement Dinner as the representative of the seventy-year class.
