The club had its annual business meeting on July 11. Many new faces joined the old regulars in electing officers for the coming year.
The members in attendance concurred with the nominating committee's recommendation that the incumbents be left in office in hopes that _ experience is the best teacher. Those serving again this coming year are: Matthew C. Fenton III '49 - President, John J. Wolf '50 - Vice President, JosephP. Searing '33 - Treasurer, F. Scott Corey'57 - Secretary. In addition, F. Jordan McCartey '26, Harry B. Cummings '27, N. Page Worthington '33, George V. Parkhurst '30, past and present members of the Alumni Council, were added to the club's executive committee.
The club was honored with two speakers. Page Worthington '33, newly elected President of the Alumni Council, reported on that group's recent meeting and coming events at the college. Alan K. Palmer, Valedictorian of the Class of 1963, was a surprise speaker to the group about the college as a most recent graduate views it.
The events of the past year were briefly reviewed by the President, and plans for the coming year were discussed. It is hoped that a schedule of the year's meetings and activities will be sent to all members in the early fall. Morton F. Fisher '58 was made chairman of the committee of slightly more than one to look into having luncheon meetings. After this the group returned to its speciality, elbow bending socializing.
