Dramatic offerings for the year will include British playwright Harold Pinter's "The Caretaker," Moliere's "The Miser," the American premiere of the French play-wright Georges Schehade's "The Story of Vasco," Nikolay Gogol's "The Inspector General," Shakespeare's "Richard III," and Lope de Vega's "Justice Without Revenge."
First-term exhibits to date have been a showing of Prof. Richard Wagner's latest paintings, kinetic sculpture by George Rickey, watercolor paintings by George C. Stoddard '18, paintings by 25 leading American artists, and art of the South Sea Islands.
Among musical presentations in Hopkins Center or Webster Hall this term have been the Yale Russian Chorus, Odetta, Stan Kenton and his orchestra, pianist Tong II Han playing with the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra, the Dartmouth Glee Club, Betsy Walker and Anthony Beaulieu in a piano and violin recital, and the New Hampshire Youth Symphony Orchestra.
