The Faculty Committee on Graduate Fellowships desires to draw the attention of recent alumni to the possibility of applying for one of the James B. Reynolds Foreign Scholarships. At the present moment two recent alumni are studying abroad on Reynolds Scholarships, one in England and one in Japan.
Scholarships are tenable for study abroad for one year and are not renewable; each will ordinarily carry a stipend of $2,000. Appointment will be recommended to the President of the College on the basis of the character and ability of the applicant, along with the soundness of his proposed program of study and its possible benefit to society.
Application forms may be obtained from Mrs. Waldo Chamberlin, Executive Secretary of the Committee on Graduate Fellowships, P.O. Box 674, Hanover, N.H. Completed application forms must be filed not later than January 31, 1964.
