Joe Nadeau has been named the 1963 Cancer Crusade Chairman for the city of Dover, N. H. Joe and his wife, Janet, are residents of Dover, where Joe is associated with the law firm of Burns, Bryant and Hinchley. Another civic-minded classmate is Bill Ardiff. Bill is seeking election to the school committee of Danvers, Mass. Bill is engaged locally in the general practice of law and has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, and is also certified to practice before the U.S. Treasury Department. Bill is presently a member of the Danvers High School Scholarship Committee of the Rotary Club, and the Peabody Museum Marine Association.
Herb Grant is now serving with the Third Marine Division, Second Battalion in Okinawa. Herb is assigned as adjutant of the Battalion. Dave Spaulding has become engaged to Jeanne Van, of San Mateo, Calif. Jeanne is a graduate of Smith and is now studying for her Master's at Stanford, where Dave has already earned his MEE degree and is currently doing research work for his doctorate in electoral engineering. A fall wedding is planned.
Roger Condit and Karyl Allyn, a sister of Jerry Allyn, have announced their engagement and plans for an early June wedding. They plan to be somewhere between the "honey" and the "moon" when the Fabulous Fifth assembles.
Bob Bartholomew and Sharon Deming were married in February, in the romantic setting of San Francisco. Steve Margolis has become engaged to Roberta Shuler, a graduate of Wheaton College. Roberta is presently doing graduate work in the philosophy of religion at Harvard. Steve is an area manager of marketing with the Maxwell House Division, of General Foods Corporation.
Pete Jaffe recently completed an eightweek supply officer course at the Signal School, Ft. Monmouth, N. J. John Goodrich is working for the Eagle-Pitcher Co., of New York, as their manager of sales-service. John Allbee is a sales trainee for Dow Chemical, in Midland, Mich. George Lefcoe is an assistant professor at the University of Calif. Law School. Bob Ogg is a trainee with Simpson-Sears in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Pete Richmond is working as a financial analyst for the Ford Motor Company. Ham Wilson is selling for Humble Oil and Refinery in Providence, R. I.
Another last-minute flash from the stork: Born to Goody and Sheila Gilman - a baby girl, Gayle Estelle Gilman.
