For the classes reuning in June - at this writing (May 6) we have received over fifty reservations for the June 21st luncheon to be held in Kellogg Medical Auditorium for all Dartmouth physicians. This has been scheduled by reunion committees at this time so that it will not conflict with other scheduled events. If you have not notified us already that you will be here, please do so at once. It will be the best chance to see all returning physicians.

"Demolition Begins on Two Med School 'Old Timers'." Thus read the sad headline in the Daily D on April 4. Actually the old AKK house on East Wheelock Street is now gone, and old Medical is on the way, Whereas these operations produce nostalgic unhappiness in us old-timers, we must recognize their necessity in view of the truly dangerous structural condition of the buildings.

On the brighter side, sometime in early September, the new Dana Biomedical Library will be dedicated and in operation, thereby eliminating one more major need of the School. Excavation for the electron-microscope laboratory is already underway, and it looks like another summer of construction.

Hilly Poindexter M' 27 who served last year in the U. S. delegation in the U. N. Geneva Conference on Science and Technology, and who is now serving as Chief Public Health Adviser for USAID in Sierra Leone, was awarded the National Civil Service League Award in Washington on March 26. ... The John Morans M'55 have added John Paul to Tom and Peter, thereby becoming eligible for the Tripledecker Club. . . . The AI Roots M'56 kept their class in the running by announcing the arrival of Jennifer Lynne. ... Joining the parade, the Gerry Finkels M'57 brag about their brandnew Douglas Paul.

Robin Saphir M'58 has overcome the handicap of consorting with engineers and will intern at the Buffalo General next year. ... Jim McDowell M'59 will join Robin in Buffalo, as will Jerry Bart M'61.. . . Paul Raslavicius M'58, who has another year to go in Pathology at the Peter Bent Brigham, was seen skiing at Tuckerman's Ravine in late April. . . . It's finally official: Margaret Barrera took pity on "J.C." Parkes M'59 and they are scheduled to be married, with Al Gazzaniga M'59 as best man, and Frankie Hoefle M'59 as one of the ushers.

Eric Jensen M'58, now a flight surgeon in the Naval Reserve in Seattle, reports floating down the Salmon River with WaltBlackadar M' 44 pulling out a 5-20 pound salmon. Eric also tells of seeing MarkCloutier M'sB and Don and Pat DillonM's7, and that Jim Tankersley M'58 married a girl in Hawaii to bring back with him for a pediatric residence in Seattle. .. . NickTschetter M'sB has severed his connection with academic medicine, except for one day a week at the University of Colorado, and has opened an office for the practice of Pediatrics.... Bob Liberman M'6o is moving to New York from Baltimore.. .. Marge Magill very nicely writes for Tom MagillM'60 telling of his work, and particularly of their pride and joy, Catherine Ann. Thanks, Marge!

Stu Hanson M'61 and Gail Taylor plan to be married June 16. ... Eric Sailer M'61 and Shelly Lippe M'6l also are scheduled for the altar after McGill finishes its year this May; no girls' names supplied yet.... Conner Moore M'61 was seen skiing at Mad River Glen. . .. Dave Vaules M'61 highlighted his senior year at Rochester by being elected President of the Student Council, as well as making AOA. . . . Bob andJudy Yirostek M'61 are grooming their Susie to be Dartmouth's first girl fullback.. . . Marty and Debby Weiss M'61 are already planning to visit Brad (Dartmouth 1983) in Hanover on long weekends. . . . Ted TapperM' 62, Gary Manchester M' 62 and Yal I evalM' 62 favored us with visits recently. Did I hear correctly that Val will soon be married?
