Winter Park-Orlando

The annual meeting of the Winter Park Orlando Association was held on Saturday nighty April 27, at the Barbizon Restaurant in Winter Park. Our guest of honor was Mike McGean '49, the Associate Secretary of the College, who gave us an up-to-date picture of the College and for those that have not been back to Hanover in recent years, his talk with colored slides was most interesting. During the meeting, new officers were elected for the coming year, Val Schuler III '45, president and Kenneth H. Thomas '2l, secretary. The position of treasurer will be filled shortly. Those in attendance in addition to Mike McGean '49 were: Jim Thomas '40, Jack Zimmer '42, John Tiedtke '30, Phil Pendleton '54 with a guest, Sue Russell, Frank Tepper '55 and Joan, John Vandegrift '44 and Pat, Dick Proctor '43 and Lucy, Val Schuler '45 and Joan, Tom Gedge '25, and Ken Thomas '21 and Eloise.

On March 2, Don Cheney 'll, John Vandegrift '44, Frank Tepper '55, along with their wives and Phil Pendleton '54 with his guest Sue Russell, attended the meeting at Sarasota where they had the pleasure of meeting and hearing President Dickey speak. Our local association meetings are held on the last Tuesday of each month at noon at the Barbizon Restaurant in Winter Park, and we certainly welcome any visitors or new residents of this area.
