The great challenge previously mentioned in this column of building our club membership has been squarely met, and we are pleased to report that the results of our efforts have been gratifying. We have 188 dues payers to date which is a record for the club but below what we feel is a realistic total for the area. We are hereby appealing to you lost ones to help us find you. A phone call to the above listed would be most appreciated. We don't want you to miss out on the two really big shows coming up.

On Thursday April 16, Professor John Kemeny, Dartmouth's outstanding math professor, will be our guest for the day. We hope to have him speak on local radio or television, attend as honored guest a business men's luncheon in Newark, conduct a meeting of high school math teachers and students in the afternoon, and join the local alumni at our club's annual dinner meeting. We urge our club members as well as all other interested alumni to give this one-day program your full support with a fine opportunity to help us build interest in Dartmouth among local business leaders as well as high school guidance people and their students.

Dartmouth Day at the World's Fair is now set for Saturday May 23, and the club is planning to make this a family affair for its members with arrangements including transportation on a package basis. We expect a big turn-out for this one and understand that the college glee club will be present.
