Robert E. "Bob" More is rightfully proud of the Colorado delegation of 40 undergraduates in Hanover, and one of them is Jerry More, who plans to climb Alaska's Mount McKinley this summer. "Life is still a pleasant experience" for Bob and Alice. Bob for years has been experimenting with evergreens to see how many different varieties he can successfully grow and at present at their mountain cabin he has "200 varieties in good health."
Dr. Robert O. Blood, former governor of New Hampshire, was state chairman of the March of Dimes Campaign. He is also president of the National Ayrshire Association. He operates Crystal Spring Farms at East Concord, N. H., with a herd of 150 registered Ayrshires.
Nat C. Merrill, son of Henry W. "Tubby" and Miss Barbara Jo Curry had their engagement announced by Mr. and Mrs. Joe G. Curry of Kokomo, Ind., in March. Miss Curry will receive her bachelor of music degree at the New England Conservatory of Music this June. Nat will receive his master's degree in musicology at Boston University. An early May wedding is planned.
Now we report the birth of Holly Fraser Cox, born February 18, 1951, as announced by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fraser Cox (Nancy Trowbridge) of Harvard, Mass. Edward Anthony Whitaker Jr., on whom we reported last month, is entered at Dartmouth, Class of 1973, while his brother Wharton Parker Whitaker enters with the Class of 1966.
At the Boston dinner in March the class was represented by Tubby Merrill, ParkerTrowbridge, Bill Davis, George Knight, General Willson, Bart Shepard, Vic Dunbar and Glen Kimball. Shumway had a broken ankle with leg in a cast and Wilkins was in bed laid low by the "Flu," so they missed it. Other excuses not received yet.
